Duties & Responsibilities
The doctors will be serving at the Tibetan Primary Health Centres of respective Tibetan Settlements. The Doctors will be looking after the patients and also giving public health education to the Tibetans living in Tibetan Settlements.
- Monthly stipend depending on the category of professionals
- School accomodation may be provided depending on school, monthly rent allowances for volunteers who stay by their own
- Certificate of Recognition
Minimum 1 year experience Those with more than 3 years experience are given preference
Host Organization Background
The Department of Health provides primary health care services to all Tibetan refugees India, Nepal and Bhutan through its health care centers. At present, the department supports fifty-five health centers out of which twelve are in Nepal. The department further administers and supports seven larger primary health centers, four smaller ones and 32 dispensaries in India including one special need school in Dehradun. It employs a medical staff of 174 and 68 administrative staff.
