The Department of Home (Nangsi) is seeking a Career Counselor and Communication Skills Teacher
Duties & Responsibilities
a) Taking a 3/4 hours of counseling and communication development class daily for the ISTL trainees.
b) To support the administrative staff in office work whenever required.
- Monthly stipend depending on the category of professionals
- School accomodation may be provided depending on school, monthly rent allowances for volunteers who stay by their own
- Certificate of Recognition
a) Minimum Bachelor degree in counseling and guidance.
b) Candidates with Master degree in counseling and experience & also with knowledge of communication development will be given a preference.
Host Organization Background
The Department of Home (Nangsi) looks after the socio-economic welfare of the Tibetans in exile living in 26 agriculture settlements, 20 handicraft-industrial based settlements and 12 scattered settlements in India, Nepal and Bhutan through Tibetan Settlement Offices. Nangsi’s agriculture activities include supporting the Tibetan co-operatives, encouraging organic farming, providing technical assistance, planting trees, animal husbandry and conservation and development of soil and water.
